Spending quality time together with the ones that we love should be a wonderful, enjoyable experience to be cherished. This downtime should have given us an opportunity to connect with our loved ones in a relaxed, loving atmosphere of getting reacquainted by cooking together, playing board games, reading with the kidws, teaching algebra, doing science projects, watching movies, and video chatting with friends.
Instead, 24/7 lock-down reality has been so devastating that the Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, recently Tweeted "I urge all governments to put women's safety first as they respond to the pandemic"! He is not referring to the pandemic of Covid-19! He is referring to the pandemic of Domestic Violence!
